It was much-awaited by her fans. The diva is all set to make a comeback after 14 years. Sridevi will soon start shooting for the film English Vinglish to be directed by Gauri Shinde, wife of R. Balki. Since the plan of Mr.India 2 is put on hold, Sridevi took a step ahead and signed English Vinglish. There was a lot of buzz about her comeback film, however, a film with R. Balki was always on the cards, and rumours suggested that Sridevi will act opposite Amitabh Bachchan in it. The 47-year-old actress, who is a doting mother of two lovely girls, was always keen on acting but kept waiting for the right script. Now her family, especially her daughters, are thrilled to see their mommy dearest returning on the big screen. For English Vinglish, Sridevi will work for the first time with a woman director. Last time when she shot for a film, it was Judaai, released in 1997. Sridevi's performance as an avaricious wife was well appreciated in the movie.

Office-Office a popular comedy show mocking the work culture prevailing in government offices and plight of a common man, Mussaddi Lal (Pankaj Kapoor) is now moving to silver screen. The movie titled as Chala Mussaddi-Office Office is to be directed by Rajiv Mehra and produced by Eagle Films Pvt. Ltd with Pankaj Kapoor as a lead character Mussaddi Lal. Pankaj Kapur was last seen as Siddhu in 'Halla Bol’ in 2007 and now he is back on silver screen, after a break of about four years. The film ‘Chala Mussaddi- Office Office’ is a step ahead of the its television sibling, based on work culture in Govt. offices and the plight of a common man trying to make ends meet. The entire cast from the TV series is retained by the makers of the film to give it that connect with the audience. The directer Rajiv Mehra promises a power packed performance from all the actors Pankaj Kapur, Sanjay Mishra, Deven Bhojani, Manoj Pahwa, Hemant Pandey, and Asawari Joshi. Gaurav Kapoor, Farida Jalal and Makarand Deshpande make an entry into the Office Office ensemble, with Gulzaar and Sajid Wajid contributing outstanding lyrics and superb tunes.
