The Bride In true model style, Kate had four dress changes throughout the day, a different design for each of the biggest moments. As was rumoured months before, controversial designer and close friend to Kate John Galliano designed the dress the bride wed in. The vintage-inspired slim-fitting, floor-length dress was very Kate, relaxed, chic but still glam with a smattering of sequins and delicate sheer panelling. The veil was simple and beautiful, floating down to touch the bride’s lower back. The shoes were not Louboutins as expected but Manolo Blahniks with blue lining. Sam McKnight was responsible for her simple, slightly dishevelled out-do on the day and Charlotte Tilbury created the natural, creamy make-up look of a nude lip and defined lashes. Stella McCartney was responsible for designing the three other looks on the day. During the first dance, the bride wore an oyster silk chiffon dress with embroidered bodice and cut-out back. For the remainder of the reception, McCartney designed a mini body-con beaded dress with a plunging back for the bride and, finally, to leave Kate donned a single-breasted, three-piece, white wool suit.
The Groom It wasn’t just Kate who had outfit changes throughout the day! Groom Jamie Hince, 42, wore a powder blue, double-breasted bespoke Yves Saint Laurent suit with his trademark quiff, huge sunglasses and black boots. He later changed into another suit for the after party.
The Wedding Party Alison Mosshart, the other half of Hince’s band The Kills, was the groom’s “best woman” wore a tuxedo from YSL for the ceremony to match band mate Hince. Kate had a huge sixteen bridesmaids, including daughter Lilla Grace who wore white dresses, white ballerina flats and floral garlands that matched Kate’s bouquet. Maid of honour and casting agent Jess Hallett wore a washed silk chiffon blue dress by Stella McCartney who also designed outfits for Charlotte Moss and Ella Richards who both chose bias cut dresses with soft shoulder ruffles. Naomi Campbell was spotted in a bright yellow Givenchy Couture dress and another piece from the label, this time a bright pink sequinned look, for the reception. Of course all the magazine giants were there for the model’s nuptials. Emmanuelle Alt wore Balmain, Carine Roitfeld chose vintage Galliano, Bella Freud donned a Marc by Marc Jacobs outfit and queen bee Anna Wintour wore perfect Prada. Stella McCartney was in attendance wearing an all-white tailored one piece and the designer of the YSL suits, Stefano Pilati was also in attendance. Sadie Frost wore a monochrome striped blazer with matching 40’s style hat and peep-toe bow shoes by Christopher Beales. According to a tweet from Jim Shi, transvestites wearing 6-inch heels were escorting guests to the restrooms and back to their seats! We think the entire wedding was very Kate and Jamie. Fashionable, relaxed and extremely chic.

Green Leaf, cracked Coriander seed and Magnolia are married into the most lush scent that’s hardly describable except to say it’s a floral meets almost masculine scent with the balance of both perfect. The minute I arrived at my get together, everyone got up close to smell.

We are all aware that Paris Hilton is a big fan of the color pink, but we never knew she would ever don a tutu just to celebrate the color. Unfortunately, her getup didn’t pay off.
The famous heiress was at a Kandyland fete held inside the Playboy Mansion looking more like a bubblegum pop ballerina with this full pink ensemble. However, the dress was suited more for a ballet recital and not a chintzy party of scantily clad ladies with the Hef, so we’re thinking Paris went to the wrong party. In addition, her white pumps made her look out of line in terms of fashion and style-she could have worn just another pink shade instead.
