Lancôme Under Emma Watson’s Spell Miss Watson really is the woman of the moment with yet another huge ambassadress gig announced, this time to beauty giant Lancôme’s newest scent. The British actress was actually born in Paris and it’s clear some of that expert Parisian chic is still running through her veins, she is effortlessly classy and a flawless face for the French beauty experts. Watson will star as the face of Trésor Midnight Rose, the new sweetly feminine fragrance from Lancôme that is set to launch in Australia on the 30th of October 2011. Mario Testino has been shooting the commercial in which Emma plays a woman caught up in a romantic intrigue, playing on the mischievous, feminine and joyful feel of the fragrance. The charming young star said of the deal, “Being a Lanôme ambassadress today is an immense pleasure and a great honour. For me, Lancôme is an authentic brand. If reflects elegance, class and style.”
Leonardo DiCaprio Relationship Sinks After rumours circulated that Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Rafaeli were on the rocks, People magazine has confirmed that the pair have split. Cannes Film Festival Though the Cannes Film Festival didn’t officially start until a day later, Blake Lively, Rachel Bilson and more super stars kicked off celebrations early with Chanel’s glam French fashion show. Karl Lagerfeld hosted the event where high-fashion looks and a brand new film were premiered. Salma Hayek, who has just launched her own makeup line called Nuance, posed on the red carpet of the opening ceremony for the event in a stunning Gucci Premiere number. Hayek is these promoting ‘Puss in Boots’ with her co-star Antonio Banderas. Judges Robert De Niro, Jude Law and Uma Thurman made their way up the grand staircase at the event with Uma turning heads in a white Versace gown. Woody Allen’s latest film ‘Midnight in Paris’ was the first to show at the festival with a star-studded cast that includes Owen Wilson, Adrien Brody, Rachel McAdams and her real-life main man Michael Sheen. On the red carpet for the films debut, Rachel McAdams wore a stunning semi-sheer red gown and her boyfriend on her arm. Some time ago we spotted a new tattoo on Angelina Jolie’s arm and questioned whether she would be adding to her family in the near future. During promotion of her new film Kung Fu Panda 2, she revealed that it is actually the longitude and latitude of husband Brad’s Oklahoma birthplace.
