Oprah’s Last Shows and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Love-Child Confession Posted: 19 May 2011 02:04 AM PDT By Chloe Schneider Oprah’s Australian show was not the end for the mega-watt star whose final show saw some of the biggest Hollywood names coming together for a send-off like no other. More details have emerged about Arnold Schwarzenegger’s split from Maria Shriver Oprah’s Never-Ending Farewell It was all the way back in November of 2009 that Oprah Winfrey announced that ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ would be coming to an end after 25 years on air. After a year and a half of shows, farewells and surprises, the final show is set to air in the coming weeks.   The third and second last episodes have just been taped at the United Center in Chicago. Titled ‘Surprise Oprah! A Farewell Spectacular’, the two shows featured an incredible array of larger-than-life stars coming together on stage. After years of surprising her audiences, Oprah was finally surprised herself; all the guest appearances and performance artists were kept a secret from her until the moment she walked on stage. 13, 000 guests were in the audience watching Tom Hanks MC a historical TV event. Other celebs on the bill include Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Madonna, Diane Sawyer, Dakota Fanning, Halle Berry, Queen Latifah, Jerry Seinfeld, Simon Cowell, Rosie O’Donnell, Michael Jordan and more. The Black Eyed Peas, Beyonce, Jamie Foxx and Stevie Wonder, are just some of the huge names whose performances were taped during the shows. This guest list alone proves what an influential and inspiring woman Oprah is and we can’t wait for the undoubtedly tearful shows to air here on Channel Ten next week. The very last show is set to tape next week and air in the US on May 25.   Arnold Schwarznegger’s Confession Last week we reported on Arnold Schwarznegger’s split from wife of twenty-five years Maria Shriver. This week more details on the split have emerged, shocking us all. As it turns out, Arnie admitted to his wife, and now the world, that he fathered a child ten years ago with a member of the household staff who worked for the family for twenty years. Said staff member is now retired. The former governor of California made a formal statement to the LA Times, saying, “After leaving the governor’s office I told my wife about this event which occurred over a decade ago. I understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family. There are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused. I have apologised to Maria, my children and my family.
