When the seemingly unknown Canadian porn star Sunny Leone entered Indian TV show 'Bigg Boss', nobody could have thought what trajectory the coming years would provide her with. But just a few years down the line from that stint of hers, Leone is now a name to reckon with as far as the Hindi film industry is concerned.
From ad shoots to item numbers to full-fledged feature films, the magic of Sunny Leone just doesn't seem to fade. And now that the actress has turned all desi for her item song in 'Shootout At Wadala' – 'Laila' – the temperatures have been constantly on the rise yet again!
The Central Board of Film Certificate (CBFC). The board has disapproved of the lyrics as well as the video of an item number, Laila Teri that features Sunny Leone. To ensure that the song can air on television at prime time, the makers have made changes to the controversial lyrics and the video.
"The original version of the song had the lyrics, ‘Laila Teri Le Legi’. If we had to retain these words, the censor board would've given it an adult rating and we wouldn't have been able to air it on TV during prime time. So we have changed the words to Laila Tujhe Loot Legi. It sounds very strange but we had to do it," says Gupta.
